Ashley Borysewicz

Behavior Analyst

Ashley Borysewicz is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has worked with individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities for 12 years; her first job upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology was as a behavior technician with a birth-to-three company providing in-home services. Since then, she has worked in a variety of settings such as clinics, hospitals, group homes, daycares, other in-home programs, and different community locations with ages ranging from 18 months to 21 years. She is originally from Cape Cod, Ma and received her masters degree in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford upon moving to Connecticut. Prior to working at Prism Academy, Ashley’s role was a Clinical Director overseeing BCBA’s, LCSW’s, and LPC’s providing ABA services in homes and in the community. Ashley took time off to stay home with her son for 8 months after he was born before returning to a field that she is so passionate about and joining the Prism team.

What brings Ashley Joy?

When not working, Ashley loves nothing more than spending time with her husband and son, being with friends and family. spending time by the (Cape Cod) ocean, and all things Disney!

Annie Scott

Annie Scott

Behavior Analyst / Farmington

Annie Scott is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children with autism for the last 11 years. Originally from New York, she received her masters degree from Fordham University in Early Childhood Special Education and Post-Masters in ABA from Hunter College. Before beginning her career in ABA Annie was a special education preschool teacher in NYC for 7 years, and prior to working at Prism, she was a program supervisor at a Verbal Behavior Clinic in Arizona.

Jaclyn Pugh

Jaclyn Pugh

Senior Behavior Analyst

M.S., BCBA, LBA

Jaclyn Pugh is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and certified Special Education Teacher K-12 who has been working with children since 2007. Jaclyn has behavior analytic experience working with individuals ages 0-21 in both center and school-based ABA programs and has a passion for teaching functional communication and daily living skills. She holds a bachelor’s degree in both Special Education and Liberal Studies with a concentration in reading, and she completed her graduate degree in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, CT. Prior to joining Prism, Jaclyn worked as a public school paraprofessional and ABA therapist for several years and then a special education teacher in an ABA-based classroom. There she developed a structured center-based learning classroom to meet the needs of the children. Jaclyn moved to Indiana where she worked as a Clinical Site Director and established the company’s fifth Autism Learning Center. After several years, Jaclyn and her family moved back to Connecticut and she worked as a BCBA for a Regional Educational Service Center (RESC) school that served students from across the state.

What brings Jaclyn joy?

When not at work, Jaclyn enjoys spending time with her three sons (two of those are twins!) and husband, as well as her extended family. She enjoys playing cards, specifically setback and cribbage. Jaclyn loves to bring a delicious dessert to any event she goes to and she loves to try new foods and restaurants.

Heather Philbrook is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Has experience working with children for over 10 years. Heather became passionate about working with children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder while working as a preschool teacher. Senior Behavior Analyst, Berlin

Christie Rebelo-Lappen is a Senior Board Certified Behavior Analyst with nearly 19 years experience working with children diagnosed with autism in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She holds a Masters of Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Fitchburg State University. Before joining the Prism team, Christie spent over 18 years providing behavior analytic services to children with autism in public school, center-based, and in-home settings. She has worked with students of various ages ranging from preschool to high school. In addition, Christie taught graduate level students enrolled in the University of St. Joseph Applied Behavior Analysis program.

What brings Christie joy?

Outside of work, Christie loves spending time with her husband and their four dogs. They spend time together working on their small farm that is the home to their two horses, two mini-donkeys, twelve sweet hens, and one rooster with an attitude. Christie also enjoys spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, and relaxing around backyard campfires.

Katie Jacobs is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder since 2013. She graduated from The University of Saint Joseph with her Master’s of Science in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis. She also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. Prior to joining Prism, Katie worked as a behavior analyst in a home based program with young children. Additionally, she spent several years gaining behavior analytic experience working in private special education schools as a teaching assistant and behavior technician, with elementary and high school-aged students with autism.

Kaela Brizuela is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 6 years of experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum. Throughout this time, she has worked in school districts, home and clinic settings with children aged 3-16. Prior to becoming a BCBA she gained experience supervising and implementing individualized programming in her role as a BCaBA. In 2019, she completed her M.Ed. with a concentration in applied behavior analysis from Endicott College. Kaela has a love and passion for helping improve the quality of life for each client and family she serves. She enjoys that she’s always learning from her clients, and this continues to be the most rewarding aspect of her job.

Julia Ferrelli is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) for over 15 years. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut and earned her Master’s of Science in Special Education with concentrations in ASD and Applied Behavior Analysis from Southern Connecticut State University. Prior to joining Prism, Julia worked as a preschool special education teacher in a self-contained classroom for young children with autism. There she learned how to incorporate applied behavior analysis through naturalistic learning opportunities.
