Sheena Kessenich

Sheena is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working with children with autism for 7 years. She is originally from Pennsylvania where she earned her master’s degree from Drexel University in Applied Behavior Analysis and also holds a certificate in Organizational Behavior Management from Florida Institute of Technology. Before relocating to Connecticut, Sheena worked in pediatric clinics in both Alaska and Montana providing services in clinic, home, and public school settings for children ages 3-16. She has a passion for working with families to provide the most meaningful treatment and support and also enjoys providing assistance advocating for their child’s needs.

What brings Sheena Joy?
In her free time, Sheena enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She has spent the last 17 years traveling while her husband was on active duty in the Air Force. They are very excited to settle into a permanent home, and to be on the east coast to spend more time with family. She loves attending festivals, traveling, trying new restaurants, and music.

Nicole Williams

Nicole Williams

Behavior Analyst / Farmington

Nicole Berger is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children with autism since 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Studies from the University of Saint Joseph. Nicole has worked in a variety of settings including private and public schools, in-home and clinics with her most recent position as Clinical Director at a clinic in Dallas, Texas. Nicole has taught undergraduate Psychology courses at Eastern Connecticut State University and continues to teach Webinars on a monthly basis on sections of the BACB’s task list for eager candidates for the BCBA exam.

What brings Nicole Joy?
When Nicole is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and diving into a good book. She also enjoys running, being outdoors and tasting varieties of ice cream and coffee.

Annie Scott

Annie Scott is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children with autism for the last 11 years. Originally from New York, she received her masters degree from Fordham University in Early Childhood Special Education and Post-Masters in ABA from Hunter College. Before beginning her career in ABA Annie was a special education preschool teacher in NYC for 7 years, and prior to working at Prism, she was a program supervisor at a Verbal Behavior Clinic in Arizona.

What brings Annie Joy?
Annie enjoys spending time with friends and family, the ocean, yoga, and traveling!

Jessica Costa

Jessica Costa

Behavior Analyst / Special Education Teacher / Berlin

Jessica Costa graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with her Bachelor degrees in Early Childhood Education and Psychology with a concentration in child and youth. After graduating, she obtained her teaching certification 113-Special Education (N-K)/Elementary Education (1-3) and worked in a public school system for the first eight years of her career. During her time at ECSU, she just happened to sign up for a class called ‘Learning’ which was an introduction to ABA and immediately knew that she wanted to learn more! Jessica graduated with her Master’s degree in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Saint Joseph.

What brings Jessica joy?

Some things that bring her joy include being out in nature with her dogs, Motley and Ozzy. she enjoys gardening and caring for her indoor plants. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life and believes the best days are sunny days on the deck while reading a good book.

Senior Behavior Analyst / Berlin

Christine Rebelo-Lappen is a Senior Board Certified Behavior Analyst with nearly 19 years experience working with children diagnosed with autism in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She holds a Masters of Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Fitchburg State University. Before joining the Prism team, Christine spent over 18 years providing behavior analytic services to children with autism in public school, center-based, and in-home settings. She has worked with students of various ages ranging from preschool to high school. In addition, Christine taught graduate level students enrolled in the University of St. Joseph Applied Behavior Analysis program.

What brings Christine joy?

Outside of work, Christine loves spending time with her husband and their four dogs. They spend time together working on their small farm that is the home to their two horses, two mini-donkeys, twelve sweet hens, and one rooster with an attitude. Christine also enjoys spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, and relaxing around backyard campfires.

Katie Jacobs is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder since 2013. She graduated from The University of Saint Joseph with her Master’s of Science in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis. She also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. Prior to joining Prism, Katie worked as a behavior analyst in a home based program with young children. Additionally, she spent several years gaining behavior analytic experience working in private special education schools as a teaching assistant and behavior technician, with elementary and high school-aged students with autism.

Kaela Benitez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 6 years of experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum. Throughout this time, she has worked in school districts, home and clinic settings with children aged 3-16. Prior to becoming a BCBA she gained experience supervising and implementing individualized programming in her role as a BCaBA. In 2019, she completed her M.Ed. with a concentration in applied behavior analysis from Endicott College. Kaela has a love and passion for helping improve the quality of life for each client and family she serves. She enjoys that she’s always learning from her clients, and this continues to be the most rewarding aspect of her job.

What brings Kaela joy?
In her free time, you can find her hanging out with her family members, diving into a good Netflix show or two, OR her new favorite — planning their wedding!
