Shauna Giannuzzi
Senior Behavior Analyst / Farmington
Shauna Giannuzzi is a Senior Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children with autism for the past 14 years. She is a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Shauna holds a Masters of Science in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Elms College. Prior to working with Prism, Shauna worked in an Early Intensive Behavior Intervention Program within a Special Education School and in Birth-to-Three ABA Programs. She also previously provided educational, behavioral, and consultation services to school districts and home based programs in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She also supervised students enrolled at Bay Path University’s Masters in Behavior Analysis Program and was a teaching assistant there. Shauna has conducted and presented research such as “Decreasing Tantrums Using an “Exchange” Procedure in a 2 Year Old with Autism” in a poster presentation at ABAI in 2009 and “Utilization of an Alternating Treatment Design to Assess and Fade Protective Equipment Use for Self-Injurious Behavior” in the symposium “The Assessment and Treatment of Self-Injurious Behavior Through the Use of Protective Equipment in a Specialized Public School Setting” at ABAI in 2013.

In her free time, Shauna likes to spend time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys spending time outdoors exploring different fairs and local events.
