Intervention for Your Young Child with Autism
Prism Autism Education & Consultation is proud to announce an expansion of service through the upcoming opening of the Prism Autism Center in Farmington, CT. The center will provide half and full day intensive applied behavior analytic (ABA) treatment programs to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with autism. The 13,000 square foot facility is anticipated to open in April 2018.
Designed for Your Child
Instructional treatment plans specifically designed for your child: Upon acceptance to the Center, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will perform a skills assessment with your child using autism-specific, criterion-referenced assessments. During this assessment phase, a meeting will be set up to discuss your child’s history and development, family priorities, functional skills at home, and any other pertinent information.
The clinician will then design a comprehensive treatment plan that will include skill acquisition programs, behavior reduction plans where necessary, and parent education objectives.
In-network providers with most major health insurance plans: We currently accept Connecticare, Cigna, Optum, Aetna, Anthem, Beacon Health Options, and United Healthcare.
Let’s Discuss the Right Approach for Your Family
1:1 Staff to Child Ratio: Our ABA treatment programs involve a tiered service-delivery model in which your child’s BCBA designs and supervises programming delivered by Assistant Behavior Analysts and Behavior Technicians. Your child will have a team assigned who is specifically trained on your child and his or her treatment plan objectives.
A Family Approach
Parent Education is included for all enrolled families: Your child’s behavior analyst will meet with you on a weekly basis to review progress and provide any necessary training in order to empower you to increase appropriate skills and decrease unwanted behaviors in your home environment as well.
