Rachel is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working with children with autism since 2014. She graduated from Ball State University with her Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with a concentration in Autism. Rachel worked as a public school special education paraprofessional before joining Prism’s team. During her time at Prism, Rachel was initially a behavior technician before being accepted into the company’s Apprenticeship Program, which helped prepare her to take over her BCBA role after passing her exam in May 2018

What brings Rachel joy?

Outside of work, Rachel likes reading a good book by the pool, baking cupcakes, and spending as much time as possible with her nieces and nephew.

Sarah Lessard

Sarah Lessard

Clinical Director, Farmington

Sarah Lessard is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children with autism since 2004. She received her Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University. Sarah also holds a bachelors of science in communication disorders, and is passionate about teaching functional communication. Prior to joining Prism, Sarah worked both in Massachusetts and in CT. Her experiences include working in a clinic based preschool program for children with autism spectrum disorders and partnering with a public school system to provide behavior analytic services to students with autism and developmental disabilities. This included consultation to teachers, administrators, direct staff, and parents. Sarah also provided in-home behavior analytic services through the CT Birth-to-three system.

What brings Sarah joy?

In her free time Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. They can usually be found outside enjoying the sunshine, swimming in a pool, or getting into general shenanigans. Sarah also has a love for cooking, running, listening to good folk music, and cozying up with a great book by the fireplace.

Joanne Searle

Joanne Searle

Coordinator of Patient Services

Joanne Searle is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with children with autism since 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Central Connecticut State University, and a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. Additionally, she is a Certified Early Start Denver Model Therapist. Joanne has behavior analytic experience working with children ages 0 to 8 in a variety of settings including in-home, center and school-based ABA programs. She has a passion for building socially significant skills with early learners and helping their families and teams see each moment of each day as a learning opportunity. Joanne has dedicated much of her professional development in specializing in working with very young learners recently diagnosed with ASD. She enjoys expanding her knowledge and learning new applications of Applied Behavior Analysis by attending regional conferences.

What brings Joanne joy?

When Joanne is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys being outdoors, kayaking, spinning and traveling.
